Wildwood Bulldogs/ Bulldogges started raising American Bulldogs in 1995. We
produced several quality pups that can be found in many pedigrees world-wide.
We started to transition to Olde English Bulldogges (and Miniature Oldes) in
2005. We have always had a fascination for bulldogs of color and with the merle
coloration.
Currently we are working with a few friends in producing some quality healthy
bulldogges. We breed for health and temperament first and foremost. Even
though we enjoy rare colored dogs and produce quality bulldogs in a variety of
colors, it is not the primary focus of our program. We produce dogs with working
ability, sound structure and show prospects but being a great family companion
is also a must.
Currently we are focusing on the Vintage Bulldog also known as a miniature olde
bulldogge (WBA), mini bull (OBBA), bantam bulldogge (IOEBA), olde english
bulldogge (CKC), or mini bulldog. There are several registries that are will
register the smaller variety of oldes but the breed standards can vary slightly.
Currently we are working with the OBBA (Olde Bulldogge Breed Association) and
the CKC (Continental Kennel Club).
With our vintage bulldogs we often have rare colored pups available or color
carriers. We are hoping to have blues, chocolates, lilacs, merle and tricolor pups
in the next year.
We will continue to have the occasional litter of olde english bulldogge puppies
from Wildwood's Fire & Ice "Rain". We plan to repeat the breeding of Rain and
Patty, the last litter produced our two keepers Lotus and Paisley.
